Default SEJW -- Would a Lincoln LN-25 wirefeed work with Miller XMT

Inquiring minds want to know, miller XMT 300 CC is a CC welder, as the
name implies, but Lincoln LN-25 is a variable speed wirefeed. Can they
do fluxcore or gas welding together?

thanks

The previous owner of my XMT304CC was apparently using that config.
But i just bought the XMT

The documentation said it worked on CC

if so then you could use it on any arc or tig source to prove the
concept.

And resell the units if they fail to do it?

Yes.
An LN-25 can work with any heavy duty CC or CV power supply.
It is much more commonly used with CC than CV, but will work with both.

Ernie, thanks. Just to clarify, it can weld both gasless and gas
process, and it would work well, right?

yes.
As long as your LN-25 has the gas solenoid valve.
Not all of them do.
DCEP for dual shield and MIG.
DCEN for Self shielded flux-core.
